One of my favourites for the NES is the arcade classic Donkey Kong. There also another game included Donkey Kong Jr. (the sequel). The arcade smash makes its way to the NES and was very memorable for the fans. I still enjoy a few plays, also with DK Jr.
Later, they released Donkey Kong Classics, 2 games in 1 cartridge, giving us a double dosage of Monkey Madness!!

In the first you would climb up to rescue the damsel in distress from Donkey Kong, up to 4 screens, on the 4th and final screen you would remove the pieces holding the platforms, DK would fall and the Hero gets the girl. In the sequel, you played as Donkey Kong's son to rescue him from Mario, proably making this the first game where Mario is the villian.

2 games that are classic to this day!

Game Review 2

Another one of favourites is Super Mario World for the SNES. It was one of the first games I ever played and I still love it. Good design, a 16-BIT colour scheme appealing to the eye, challenging enemies and 96 levels of adventure, secrets to be discovered and a memorable soundtrack. This game was also the introduction to a new character to the series; Yoshi. There is also various new power-ups like the Cape Feather, P-Switch and P-Balloon.

There are also 2 Bonus worlds with various interesting levels. This is a must have for your SNES collection.
